Alimorad Salartash, MD, FICS, FACS is a Fellow of the International and American College of Surgeons. He has been practicing medicine for over 40 years. He attained his degree at the University of Isfahan in his native country of Iran and later became the Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran in the Department of Surgery. He came to the United States in 1972 and did his surgical residency at the New Hanover Memorial Hospital and The Atlantic City Medical Center where he was Chief Resident in the department of surgery from 1972 through 1974. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to; diseases of the breast, hernia repair and advanced procedures for the treatment of hemorrhoids.

Khashayar Salartash, MD, FACS is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Salartash received his degree as a doctor of medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He did his surgical residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School - Department of Surgery, and at Cooper Hospital / University Medical Center in Camden, NJ. His fellowship in Vascular Surgery was done at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana. His special interests include: aneurysm repair, carotid stenosis, varicosities, and diseases of the lymphatic system.

Samir M. Patel, MD, FACS joined our practice 10 years after receiving his degree as a doctor of medicine through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He did his surgical residency at the SUNY Health Science Center of Brooklyn, NY where he was chief resident from 2001 - 2002. He also did his fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at the SUNY Health Science Center of Brooklyn, NY working with the world renowned Dr. George Ferzli.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery and SAGES. His expertise is in laparoscopic placement of gastric bands for weight loss. He has performed over 1000 successful placements of the Inamed Gastric Band System.

Gordon Callender, MD received his degree as a medical doctor from SUNY- Stony Brook. Following this, he completed a general surgery residency at the State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Callender completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City where he worked with the world renowned colorectal surgeon, Dr. Lester Gottesman. Dr. Callender and his family are pleased to relocate to our area. Ayotunde Adeyeri, MD received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, Africa. He came to the United States in 1999 and now lives in Atlantic County with his family. He completed his general surgery residency at Columbia University-Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He completed his fellowship at the University of Rochester in the areas of laparoscopic, bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery.

Dr. Adeyeri is privileged to have worked with the world renowned surgeon, Dr. William O'Malley, who recently appeared on national television. Now, Dr. Adeyeri brings his expertise in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery to our community.
